I’m a criminal Defence lawyer, a litigator, and a person living with ADHD.
The Docket and The Disorder was born out of a simple but radical idea: that our legal system needs to make room for nuance, for mental health, and for the messy, often contradictory experiences of real people.
Part journal, part resource, and part rebellion. This site is where we write candidly about:
What it means to be a neurodivergent professional in a rigid system.
How the criminal justice system often fails people it aims to protect and the overlap between trauma, mental illness, and criminal charges.
This is a space for the lawyers who feel like outliers, for the accused who’ve been misunderstood, and for anyone trying to survive systems that weren’t built for them.
Docket meet Disorder
